1. Scope

These terms govern the public website at sdmgroup.mx (the “Site”), operated under the name SDM Group.

These terms do not govern contracted construction, construction-management, architectural-design, engineering, permitting, vendor, employment or other services. Separate written agreements and notices apply to those activities. Nothing in these terms waives rights that cannot legally be waived, including applicable consumer rights.

2. Informational purpose; no client relationship

The Site provides general information about SDM Group, its experience, services, projects and areas served. It is not a binding proposal, quotation, guarantee, public offer or commitment to provide services.

Submitting a form, sending an email or discussing a possible engagement does not create a client, fiduciary, agency, construction-management, design, advisory or other professional relationship. A service relationship begins only through an appropriate written agreement. Scope, fees, taxes, authority, availability, schedules, exclusions, changes and responsibility will be governed by that agreement.

3. No professional or investment advice

Site content is not legal, tax, accounting, engineering, architectural, insurance, securities, investment or other licensed professional advice. References to property, land, permits, construction methods, infrastructure, budgets, schedules, markets or potential outcomes are general and illustrative. Obtain advice from appropriately qualified professionals for your circumstances.

4. Construction, property and site risks

Content about construction, inspections, permitting, budgets, schedules, storm preparation, access, utilities, maintenance and off-grid systems describes general practices and risk-reduction measures, not warranties. No plan, estimate, inspection, supervision, system or preparation step can guarantee a particular cost, completion date, permit result, performance level, or prevention or detection of damage, weather effects, equipment failure, utility interruption, access problems or other loss. Any actual commitment must be stated in a signed agreement.

5. Accuracy, projects and pricing

We aim to keep Site information clear and current, but laws, taxes, permits, site conditions, designs, technology, material and labor availability, prices and project status can change. Verify information before relying on it for a decision.

Project photographs, renderings, descriptions and examples illustrate particular work or concepts; they do not guarantee identical results. Any costs, timelines, ranges, percentages, budgets or packages shown are preliminary or illustrative unless expressly identified as a binding offer. Final pricing, applicable IVA, costs, exclusions and schedule will be stated in a written agreement.

6. Acceptable use and intellectual property

Use the Site only for lawful personal or internal business evaluation. Do not interfere with security, attempt unauthorized access, submit malicious or false material, impersonate another person, or use SDM Group content or branding in a way that implies unauthorized affiliation or endorsement.

Site text, design, photographs, video, renderings, graphics, branding and downloadable materials belong to SDM Group or are used with permission. You may save reasonable excerpts to evaluate our services, but no commercial reuse or other license is granted without written permission.

7. Third-party links, privacy and availability

The Site may link to social networks, email services or other third-party services. Those parties control their own content, security, privacy, fees and terms. A link does not necessarily constitute endorsement.

Our Privacy Notice and Cookie Notice describe how website data and browser technologies are used. We may update, suspend or discontinue Site content or functions. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

8. Responsibility

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SDM Group is not responsible for decisions made solely from general Site content, third-party content, or unauthorized or unlawful Site use. We do not exclude liability where exclusion is prohibited by law, including mandatory privacy or consumer obligations. A signed service agreement will govern responsibility for the relevant service.

9. Law and changes

These terms are governed by the applicable laws of Mexico and Baja California Sur, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections or remedies available through PROFECO. We may update these terms prospectively by posting the revised version and date on the Site.
